GIVE REASONS - CHEMICAL BONDING
- Electrovalent compounds are crystalline solids and have high boiling point and melting point.
- Electrovalent compounds are non volatile.
- Electrovalent compounds conduct electricity in fused or aqueous solution state but do not in solid state.
- Electrovalent compounds are soluble in water but not in organic solvents.
- Electrovalent compounds undergo high speed reactions where as covalent compounds undergo slow reactions.
- CCl4 does not conduct electricity.
- Covalent compounds exist as liquids, gases or soft solids.

anwers for this questions....../
1. Bcuz of its electrostatic force which causes a very stable compound
2.same as 1
3. in as free ions in an aqueous or fused state
4. polar is polar causing the elc.static force is weakened
5. it ionic bond can be easily broken
6. does not have free ions and weak force
