OBSERVATIONS - ORGANIC CHEMISTRY
- The gas which is obtained by the dehydration of Ethyl alcohol is passed into Bromine water.
- Acetic acid is heated with Ethyl alcohol in presence of conc. Sulphuric acid.
- Acetic acid is added neutral Ferric chloride solution.
- The gas obtained in the dehydrogenation of Ethyl bromide is passed through acidified Potassium permanganate solution.
- Acetylene is treated with Ammoniacal Silver nitrate solution.
- Ethyl alcohol is burnt in presence of sufficient Oxygen.
